All Shall Know: Chapter 1

So this is the story of how William Manning Mouat, formerly of Billings, MT. and now the Education Director of the New Orleans Opera, lied to me for 4 years about paying for a nose surgery after he broke my nose. Keep in  mind, I never ASKED him to pay for the surgery; he OFFERED. Had he not offered, I would never have had the surgery.

Here are the facts: Mouat broke my nose after a night of hard drinking. It was indeed accidental, I say that is the spirit of transparency and honesty. It WAS an accident, but it was indeed his fault, and he immediately accepted full responsibility. After the nose sort of healed, there was a piece of broken bone floating around on the bridge, just under where my glasses rested. It caused me great pain and I mentioned it to him. He said, "Go get it looked at. Maybe your insurance will pay to have it fixed."

So I did. I saw Dr. Butler at Billings Ear, Nose, and Throat specialists. Dr. Butler could fix it, unfortunately my insurance would NOT cover it as they considered it cosmetic. he immediately said, "I will pay for it. Have it fixed."

So surgery was scheduled and completed. he assured me the bill was taken care of.

Fast forward 4 years to this past June!  I get served with legal papers regarding this matter. I immediately contacted him. Again, he said he would handle it so my wages would not be garnished. Great, say I, and I go about my business and we catch up a little. Share pictures of my pride and joy: my grandkids.

Fast forward AGAIN to September 12. The accountant at work informs me she has a judgement to garnish my wages. I RACKED my brain to try to figure out what this was about. I called the Credit Agency. Sure enough, Mouat has deadbeated the debt and hung me out to dry. I contacted him AGAIN. AGAIN he swore he would make sure he handled it. He did not. Luckily, I was able to get a loan from my 82 year old mother to protect my wages. The following is the ACTUAL conversations between us. HIS words. I have not embellished or changed anything.

Don't take my friend Stephen seriously. He has MS and explaining things on Facebook helps him stay sharper. He's not really trying to educate anyone.

I spoke to Dr. Butler's office. They said they didn't need me to sign anything for payment processing. The only think I would need to sign would be a release of information, but they don't need that at all for billing purposes. You should call and talk to Eva. 238-6161

Julianna attacked and copied me, Mom and her brother and sister. The last part read, "Ms. Preston: Stay away from my Dad. Leave! Now!" Jenna had the audacity and ego to try to play the friend card and extend that to my family. That kid is actually about as good as Bekah. Julianna and Bekah are about on Superpower level re: protection. In fact, Julianna has been checking in with me 2-3 times a day. Remarkable child.
